A vivid introspection on nostalgia, artistry, and the beauty found in the remnants of creation. Drawn to the ever-changing layers of pastel shavings left behind on my father’s easel, I saw in them a quiet yet powerful evolution—fragments of his artistic spirit accumulating over time, becoming more intricate and mesmerizing with age

End of an Easel.

Preserved and magnified five to ten times their original size, these images transform overlooked traces into striking compositions of texture and colour. Saturated hues intertwine in organic formations, echoing the rhythm of his creative process. This collection is both an abstracted portrait of my father—a devoted colourist—and a personal exploration of the marks he left behind.
